Greater Manchester Police has decided that Liverpool’s striker Mario Balotelli will not face legal action over reports he threatened a woman for photographing his Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. The scandal initially started when the woman’s daughter was taking pictures of the soccer star and he’d allegedly used a “threatening behaviour”. Reports initially claimed Balotelli moved towards a woman’s daughter who was taking a photograph of the red Fezza. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) were called to investigate if the reports were real or not. The 24-year old Italian footballer was visiting his mother at the time. After discussing the matter to the woman who made the call, the officers decided there is no reason to launch an investigation of the complaint. “Police were called to Pewsey Road, Wytehnshawe just after 3pm on Thursday 23 October, following report of threatening behaviour. Officers have since spoken to the complainant and no criminal offenses were disclosed and no crime recorded. No further action will be taken,” said a spokesman for GMP. A bad start at Liverpool
It’s all bad news lately for Liverpool’s striker, who was widely criticized for his weak game for the team in their 3-0 loss to Real Madrid in the Championship League at Anfield. Not only was he replaced at half time, but the soccer star was seen swapping shirts with Real’s player Pepe. In fact, ever since he moved from AC Milan to the British team he experienced quite the bad start, considering he only scored two goals in his first 12 appearances.
