Live Action Racing Game Shows Tuning of Golf R and Porsche Macan

Based on the fact that it has only 440 views at the moment of writing, we guess we're the first to show you this awesome little clip. A tuning company called RaceChip has made a live action version of a racing game, complete with pre-start configuration and multiple viewing angles.

Live action videos have become very popular with video game companies, who saw that computer-generated imagery may not be the best way to sell first-person shooters. A couple of weeks ago, there was even one where VS bombshell Cara Delevingne showed mad Call of Duty skills.

But there haven't been too many live action videos made for racing games. RaceChip saw the opportunity and played around with two sweethearts of the tuning industry. Right before your eyes, a Golf 7 R and the Porsche Macan Turbo are transformed into racing machines. Because why not show the race between a family hatchback and a luxury SUV?!

Now, you have to remember that there are real tune-ups. Starting with the Golf, it receives a bump from 300 PS to 373 PS and an unbelievable (for a 2.0-liter) 500 Nm of torque. EnkeiIZUMO wheels, Edel01 sports suspension and KW suspension complete the transformation.

The Macan Turbo's 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 is enhanced too, with the output going from 400 PS to 482 PS. Isn't it awesome how they showed the SUV being lowered with every click of the mouse? But while the visual effects are fake, the KW shocks and Vossen wheels are very real.

We think they actually had at least four cars to pull off this video. Why? Because the Golf R starts off in dark metallic blue and ends up being white with silver accents. You could claim they did that with vinyl wrap, but the original blue color should have showed up underneath when shown jacked up into the air.
