CMG reports that Lito Green Motion's Sora electric superbike has just received Transport Canada's certification and is now deemed as a street-legal piece of machinery.
This means that the bike will be available for purchase quite soon, first in its home-country Canada, and then in other markets. The price is one of the attributes which makes it a very exclusive bike: at $41,000 (€31,525), the Sora is definitely not a bike you get to see everyday, and we just know many will just spell its name "sorry (but you're too expensive)".
However, in case you feel like you can afford to bring one of these babies home, you'll be in for quite a treat: a 12 kWh LiPo battery which needs 8 hours on a standard plug and only 90 minutes with a quick charger, a top speed in excess of 190 km/h (118 mph), and Lito claims a range just under 300 km (185 miles) , which is awesome.
This e-streetfighter comes with a generous 14.2 cm dash-integrated GPS display, electronically-adjustable seat, keyless starting, and so far, with a CVT transmission riders seem to dislike in favor of the new manual gearboxes.
We must admit that the Lito Sora looks stellar! We'll be back with more on this amazing beast soon.
