Lito Launches Sora Electric Superbike at the Montreal Motorcycle Show

It's been almost a year since we last told you that Canadian manufacturer Lito is getting closer and closer to the final stage of development for the Sora Green Motion superbike. It looks like the wait is over, as the bike debuts at the Montreal Motorcycle Show, February 28 – March 2.

Sora is manufactured in Longueuil, Quebec, and slots in the high-end luxury electric bikes niche. Made with liberal use of lightweight aluminium and carbon fiber parts, it weighs in at 260 kg (574 lbs) and comes with a 12 kWh battery, with a top speed of 190 km/h (118 mph).

However, the range is not exactly stellar, as Lito claims it will cover around 200 km (124 miles) in the city and half the distance in highway usage.

But if luxury AND green are your thing, the CAD 46,399 ($42,375 or €30,825) on the price tag should not make you faint.
