Straight from the brilliant minds in Silicon Valley comes the Lit C-1, a stunning new transportation solution created by a team led by Daniel Kim. Still in the prototype phase, the C-1 is nonetheless stunning as it brings together the small profile of individual transport methods (read motorcycles) and the comfort/ safety of cars.
Now, this isn't by far the first electric vehicle bred from a bike and a car, but if we're taking a closer look at C-1 and notice the self-stabilizing system, that's clearly a different story. A high-tech array of electronic gear and dual gyroscopes makes sure the Lit C-1 remains in upright position on its two wheels, even after a mild impact.

It may look like magic, but things are for real: the C-1 needs a lot of impact force to be flipped. Otherwise it will remain perfectly balanced, as unnatural as it may look for some. And since it balances itself, it will definitely unbelievably funny seeing motorcycle riders try it for the first time.

With prospect for two-up design and soon to enter production phase, the Lit C-1 will be ready in 2014 for around $24,000 (€18,540). However, Daniel Kim hopes that the final market price could go as low as a fifth of that or even lower, if enough orders arrive and investors grant him the opportunity to manufacture the C-1 in Asia. Stay tuned for more on the amazing Lit C-1 vehicle and enjoy the movie.
