Listen to the 600 HP Hennessey Supercharged 2015 Ford F-150 Scream on the Dyno

Have you ever imagined the sexiness of a 2015 Ford F-150, one that has nothing to do with the Raptor tag? Yes, we know, it sounds a bit strange to get that excited over an aluminum structure, but we’re talking about a Hennessey-charged machine here.

The Texan tuner is proud of having gifted the country’s best-selling vehicle with 600 hp and to show us just how happy they are about the development, they’ve released a dyno video.

Above anything else in this footage, the 100 percent stock-looking workhorse sounds more like a race horse and the contrast is simply thrilling. Now this is what we call a blue collar sleeper. As you can see, the tuner’s decals are the only clue to the muscle injection.

The technical details are the beefy kind

This is the same tech package we’ve talked about in the VelociRaptor SUV article, except the 8-seater aura is gone, and we’re dealing with a hefty bed now.

The Blue Oval’s 5.0-liter V8 has been gifted with a blower that allows it to deliver 538 hp and a maximum twist of 423 lb-ft (Nm) at the wheels. The sheer thought of driving this behemoth with a pair of work gloves on is enough to tickle our supercharged senses.

Why would you need a pick-up truck with the output of a supercar? There are many answers to that question, but none of them seems to be on the logical side. This means “for the fun of it” will have to cut it.
