Lincoln sales in the United States in November increased 17 percent over the same period last year, Ford reveal, adding that MKZ deliveries were up a whooping 114 percent.
The company sold 2,854 units of the Hermosilo-built mid-size four-door sedan last month, which translates into an increase of 114 percent when compared to November 2012. The MKZ did even better in California, where retail sales tripled for the period.
Introduced for the 2013 model year, the second-generation Lincoln MKZ is available with three powertrains: a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder (240 HP), a 3.7-liter Duratec V6 (300 HP) and a hybrid with the four-cylinder engine as a base.
The 2.0-liter version starts from $36,190, while the 3.7-liter V6 is priced from $37,420. Both stickers are available for the front-wheel drive version. The all-wheel drive option adds an extra $1,890 to the starting price.
