According to sources in the Chinese media, Lincoln is rumored to start production in China from 2015, using Ford’s (Lincoln's parent company) connection with Chang’an Auto. (Claims have been made that the joint venture will give rise to a new plant in the city of Hangzhou, in the Jiangsu Province, by the year 2015. The rumors hint at a parallel production run of both Fords and Lincolns at the new plant.
This rumor clashes with Ford’s claims that they will not be introducing the Lincoln brand to the Chinese market in the coming years, but maybe ‘coming’ is just another way of saying ‘three’ years. It would be an obvious move to bring the American luxury brand to China as it is one of the largest and will be the largest car market in the world.

Nothing is certain, and the reliability of the rumor is questionalbe, but it would make sense for Ford to introduce Lincoln to China as soon as they possibly can, to capitalize on the ever-growing luxury car market there.
