Lincoln MKZ Commercial: Steer The Script

We have no idea what Lincoln was thinking when they spent so much money on an ad that seemingly misses the target audience by a mile. The idea behind it is that people's Tweets guided the script into an amalgam of seemingly mismatched events.
As the story goes, a woman is driving along in the MKZ when she notices a German hitchhiker by the side of the road. They talk about their mutual love sweaters and drive past an alpaca farm, then run into a biker gang stopped by turtles crossing the road.

The only redeeming features are the liberal sprinkling of small celebs: NFL’s Emmitt Smith, Star Trek’s Will Wheaton, and hip hop artist Rev Run (Joseph Simmons). What's more, the whole thing was put together by comedian Jimmy Fallon, though it still has the distinct feel of a chick flick.

Hopefully, this commercial isn't going to be shown during the Super Bowl. Hopefully, Lincoln wakes up and realizes its products need to actively challenge Audi or Mercedes.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
