Until the Fiesta ST arrives and takes center stage in the hot supermini segment, Ford is making due with special editions. This one is called the Limited Edition Fiesta Metal, scheduled to arrive in Australia this September for a recommended price of AUD22,990.
This special three-door fiesta comes with a edition-specific Panther Black Metallic paintjob and 17-inch black alloy wheels.
UNder the bonnet is 1.6-liter Duratec Ti-VCT petrol engine, delivering 98 kW of power and 160 Nm of torque. A new air intake, unique exhaust with wider pipes and engine tuning allows this engine to rev higher and thus make more power than the standard 1.6 Zetec.
Just 250 will be sold in Australia, built and imported from Germany. Exterior features include twin exhaust tips , sports body kit with silver-painted front grille surround, front aero spoiler and front fog light bezels, privacy glass, 17-inch black alloy wheels and sports suspension with lowered ride height.
