BMW has a habit of launching all sorts of limited-run models around the world, especially in Japan. The Asian country also seems to be quite happy to have these cars offered and shows great enthusiasm every time the Germans decide to offer a new one.
This time, the Bavarians came forward with the so-called BMW X1 Exclusive Sport model that is bound to be manufactured in just 160 units.

The car is based on the current X1 with the M Sport package and has a couple of interesting features and optionals added that make it special. Inside, the dash is decorated with satin aluminum trims, beige Nevada leather seats, heated front seats and an M Sport steering wheel that comes as standard with the M Sport package. Of course, the iDrive system is included alongside an 8.8” display and Navigation Professional System.

All cars will be fitted with an N20 petrol 2-liter 4-cylinder engine making 184 HP and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque, connected an ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. You can also choose between rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations.

The Alpine White or Sapphire Black (as these are the only two available colors for this model) BMW X1 Exclusive Sport models have a starting price of JPY5,190,000 ($51,106) and can be ordered right now.
