Limited Edition BMW 7 Series to Be Launched in Japan

Japanese people have it good lately, especially when it comes to BMWs. After launching the special edition 1 Series Fashionista and the 5 Series Exclusive Sport model in the Land of the Rising Sun, BMW is now launching a flagship 7er with some special features.

The car we're talking about is based on a 760i and has the same 6-liter V12 engine under the bonnet (who said V12s are dead?) with around 555 HP (as much as an X5 M). That is not all though.

It wouldn't be a special edition car without some interesting, new features. These include an M Aerodynamic package, 21" V-spoked wheels, Nappa leather interior, ceramic finishes for the iDrive controller, air vents and all the other buttons in the car.

Furthermore, even though it's not a never seen before feature, all these cars will be fitted with a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system that has a total power output of 1200w.

The price for all this eye-candy? Around $226,000 (€174,800) and deliveries will begin in October. Since this is a Limited Edition version, you'd better hurry up before they sell out.
