What you see is what you get with the BMW 1-Series M Coupe. Production of the coolest, most fun 1-Series ever has already stopped at about 6,300 units, and they are contemporary collectables. That’s not to say this car belongs in a museum, more like it deserves to be driven and enjoyed.
But this 1M also likes to be seen, and so it needed something better than factory white to roam the streets of Germany in. For €2,100, wrappers Schwabenfolia were more than willing to change it into a bright, in-your-face street racer. The lime green simply screams at you, demanding attention, and making your squeal with its sour taste.
To pull off the theme perfectly, the side indicators, double kidney grille, and roof and alloys have had to be blacked out, while the mirror caps have a carbon fiber look to them.
The 1M also has other mods as well, like some wheel spacers, lowered suspension from Bilstein, a €2,300 titanium exhaust and 408 PS from a re-tuned engine.
