The guys over at Redline Motorsports have managed to build a 10-second quarter mile Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 using just a few light upgrades and a pair of meaty Hoosier tires at the back.
Fitted with a Roto-Fab cold air intake, 102mm throttle body, ported intake snout, 7/8-inch long tube stainless steel headers with high flow cats and X pipe, and a 2.55-inch pulley, this Camaro ZL1 now delivers 592 horsepower and 564 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels.

Some would say it’s not that much compared to the 580 HP provided by a stock ZL1, but it’s enough to push this pony into 10-second territory at the drag strip. The first pass in the video below is at 11.037, but the second one gets better with 10.951 seconds at 124.52 miles per hour (200.39 km/h).
