Lightened C 63 AMG Obliterates 600+ rwhp BMW M3

We first told you about the following Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG about an hour ago, after we had found a marvelous drag strip video in which it does the quarter mile in an unbelievable 10.84 seconds.

We've found some more footage of the car at the drag strip and this time it's at least as jaw dropping as the other one.

Here it is seen completely destroying a BMW M3 E92 which, unlike the C 63 AMG in question, is sporting a bunch of power adding modifications. The ESS supercharger upgrade and a bunch of other goodies - including racing compound tires and a stripped interior - make this 600+ rwhp M3 a force to be reckoned with on the drag strip.

To put things into perspective though, the only engine mods to the AMG are an ECU upgrade and an MHP full exhaust system. The performance mods, on the other hand, are much more extensive.

The entire interior has been stripped of its passenger seats, with the driver now sitting in a racing bucket seat. On top of that, the engine hood and the trunk lid are made of carbon fiber, while the tires are drag racing slicks. The result is simply astonishing and would probably make Colin Chapman proud.
