There’s something going on with Infiniti and we mean that in a good, artistic way, as the Japanese brand just got into light painting with cars, of course.
Infiniti Middle East is always up to the challenge when it comes to artsy stuff, whether it's something meant to please the ears or the eyes. This time, the focus was on visual awesomeness but we still found ourselves listening the song created from sounds produced by various Infiniti models.
However, Infiniti came up with another form of art that involves painting in a more modern shape. We’re not sure Picasso would be proud of that, but we know for sure no ears will be cut this time.
Three QX70 models were transformed into moving light painting brushes and were set free on the Al Reem track in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a result, the circuit was filled with giant colorful images featuring a variety of shapes, illustrations and patterns.
As you would expect, there’s also a pinch of marketing involved in the process:
“We say this as the perfect opportunity to engage with our fans here in the Kingdom [of Saudi Arabia]. As a premium automotive manufacturer, it’s a top priority to provide our customers with a relevant offering, so we too feel that it is also equally important for us to afford our fans a chance to really live and revel in the Infiniti spirit,” said Juergen Schmitz, managing director, Infiniti Middle East.
The campaign is called “It’s Time for Infiniti” and besides the obvious boost in sales goal, it also aims to raise Infiniti’s awareness as a brand in the area. You can watch the video below.
