Light Green Porsche 911 GT2 RS Has Acid Green Interior Details For Color Coding

Zoom in on the Paint to Sample palette and you'll notice this includes quite a lot of green shades. As such, one might be confused when seeking an attire for, say, the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS.

Well, the 2RS we're here to showcase certainly won't help you get a clearer picture. After all, this isn't the purpose of the configuration - how could it be, when the exterior comes in Acid Green, while the cabin features Acid Green details?

However, while comparing the two using this car is impossible, the PTSRS social media-based Porsche registry that brought this rear-engined toy to our attention did drop a hint on this.

"Very important to note that Light Green is different from the very well known Acid Green. Acid Green takes on a yellower, and more vibrant/saturated tone vs. Light Green," we are being told.

Oh, and we can also notice the banana-colored brake calipers, which signal the presence of PCCB (Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes) hardware.

Going past these look-at-me hues, we'll mention that this Neunelfer is a weight saver. To be more precise, the owner has chosen the Weissach Package, along with the magnesium wheels.

"But the car doesn't sport the said rims!" we hear you saying. Well, this is because Porsche is currently experiencing a delivery situation on the matter. Due to a delay caused by the supplier of the wheels, the carmaker can't send these to the owners.

Of course, Zuffenhausen couldn't pause GT2 RS deliveries, which is why the company decided to ship the machine with the "standard" wheels featuring the color chosen in the initial configuration. And, as soon as the magnesium units are available, these will also be sent to the owners, obviously free of charge. So if you meet a 2RS owner that seems confused, it might be because he or she is trying to figure out which rims to use.
