Lifted Jeep Wranglers Doing Monster Burnouts Is How Offroaders Party on Asphalt

Offroaders have always enjoyed showing tarmac-confined vehicles, especially supercars, that big tires mean you can enjoy a vehicle in so many ways. Of course, this is where the go-fast breed typically responds by showing rugged terrain vehicles how limited they are when asphalt is under their fat wheels.

Well, the piece of footage we want to show you today comes to demonstrate that offroaders, and we're talking heavily modified Jeeps here, can be used for tire-burning shenanigans in an overly spectacular fashion.

The clip shows us what happens when a lifted Jeep community decides to sacrifice traction by turning their rear tires into clouds of smoke that engulf the entire... high-altitude meet the cars had put together.

The majority of the Wranglers you'll find in this clip belong to the current JK generation (heres our review of such a lifted JK), but you should also expect to be greeted by plenty of TJ Wranglers (these were built between 1996 and 2006).

While tons of action are packed into this two-minute production, you should pay special attention to every moment. After all, you wouldn't want to miss a Wrangler pickup truck with an independent suspension or a girl showing boys how burnouts are done, right?

Nevertheless, if we think about the high-output powerplants and the overly sturdy axles that go into such extreme Jeeps, such hefty burnouts no longer take us by surprise.

Speaking of the battle between go-fast asphalt machines and offroaders, we might just find peace in the future. That's because we notice a new trend slowly arising, one we like to refer to as jportscars, as it involves jacked-up sportscars that aim to offer the best of both worlds. We still have a lot of waiting to do until such contraptions truly become available, but we're sure the results will be worth the wait.
