Lifted 2016 Ford F-250 MegaRaptor Looks Insane on Massive Michelin Tires

The official name of this particular build is 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty MegaRaptor Power Stroke 4×4. Extremely intimidating, we know, but not as much as the thing itself.

The contraption started life as a 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty SuperCab, and underneath all that imposing stance, it is still one. Except it looks nothing like what the Blue Oval usually rolls off the assembly line.

The build was handled by a Tucson, Arizona-based shop by the name MegaRexx Trucks. These guys have made a habit of turning “diesel SuperDutys into widebody, big tire trucks,” and they sure seem to know how to do that.

The first things that catch the eye with this pickup are the wheels. The metal part of those are 20-inch MRAP military pieces, while the insanely massive rubber (each tire is sized 395/85) wrapped around them is part of the Michelin X line. The sheer size of the hardware is greatly enhanced by the truck’s 4-inch (101-mm) lift.

Perhaps the wheels would not have looked as stunning if it weren’t for some other changes. The truck has been repainted in a color called Leadfoot Gray, and several other pieces of hardware were added to make it look like a monster both on the road and off it. Those include LED lighting, custom bumpers, and a trailer hitch receiver, among others.

The interior is much closer to stock than the body, and it features front bucket seats and a bench at the rear. Being a 2016 model, modern-day technologies like parking sensors and cruise control are included in the package.

Under the hood, the truck hides Ford’s 6.7-liter turbodiesel V8 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, apparently with no performance modifications made to it.

The MegaRaptor is listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, and at the time of writing there are a little under 10 hours left in the bidding process. The highest sum someone is willing to pay now is $37,500.
