The Fourth installment of Lexus Short Films series has been recently revealed, coming with another sensible and moving story to tell.
Named ‘Pupil’, the short movie revolves around the visual art and our built-in system that allows us to appreciate it and enjoy the simple things around us.
The main character of the video is an Asian girl whose passion for painting overcomes her physical issues. The film is brought to us from two perspectives: the artist as she was young and struggled to make herself known for her work and the present, when she appears to work for a design company doing boring sketches for advertising materials.
Then her illness struck again and she goes blind, but this impediment doesn’t stop her passion for painting. She retires in a quiet place with her pets and continues to live through her art.
