Lexus RX 450h F-Sport Review by CarBuyer

Fuel consumption is a tricky business for SUVs. You want to have a decent engine to give you lots of power and pull you off the line, but you don't want that to come at the price of fuel consumption. The solution has always been going around this problem and getting a torque but diesel with better mileage, but Lexus has an even better solution.

Their latest RX SUV is not only very good looking, but it's also a hybrid, one which is made by best company in the world of hybrids. The 3.5-liter V6 which runs the Atkinson cycle is helped by an updated electric system to make the RX 450h an amazingly efficient SUV. Around town, it can run for up to a mile on battery power, which is recharged by the regenerative braking system.

The model tested by CarBuyer is not only efficient, but it's also very good looking, thanks the optionally available F-Sport package. Mat Watson from CarBuyer, who is testing the RX 450h, says the ride is too harsh for an off-roader, clearly not knowing this is a completely different type of vehicle.

If you're looking for a much more affordable luxury vehicle that's good around town also good to look at, look no further than the RX 450h.
