In just a few more months we’ll be able to see the Lexus RC and RC F in showrooms and on the streets, but until then, the only place to meet it in flesh and bone is at an auto show.
And currently you can find one displayed at the 2014 New York International Auto Show, sparkling the light of an array of spotlights and showing off with the new metallic blue body finish.
Still no word from the automaker on exactly how much horsepower does the new V8 in it makes, so we’ll still have to tell you that it makes over 450 hp. Other than that, you should know that the engine will keep the fuel consumption down by using the Atkinson cycle when cruising at low speeds or low engine rpms. But as soon as you’ll floor it, the normal Otto cycle kicks in to offer best performance and responsiveness.
Standard features on the RC F includes LED headlamps and daytime running lights, stacked dual exhausts, Smart Access with push-button Start, paddle shifters, frameless rearview mirror, Lexus Display Audio with color screen with multiple connectivity as well as a back-up camera with dynamic gridlines.
In case you want more, two optional packages can be added - the Performance and Carbon packs.
