Based on the sleek all-new RC coupe, the RC F is styled to support the most powerful V8 performance car Lexus ever developed.

On the outside, the RC F is oozing performance from any angle. The front end is dominated by the big spindle grille with the special F full mesh, bigger side vents and a more higher vented hood needed to house the bigger V8 engine. And with those three-piece LED headlights, it looks like a predator creature ready to devour the BMW M4.

The RC F’s profile is dominated by large air vents just after the front wheels, redesigned side skirts an a strong waistline that ends just above the taillamps. The rear end comes with a redesigned bumper, chrome quad stacked exhaust and an LFA-inspired speed-sensitive active wing that deploys at around 50 mph and retracts at less than 25 mph.

Wider tires now wrap new wider 10-spoke forged aluminum wheels which are available in three variations, including two machine polished designs and one hand polished by a craftsmen.

Stepping inside, you will find a dashboard design very similar to the one found in the 2014 Lexus IS. Still, it comes with unique components like the gauges, thicker steering wheel, seats, ornamentation and pedals.

The RC F debuts a Lexus-first elliptical cross-section thick-grip steering wheel with paddle shifters. All-new high back seats with embossed F badges on the headrests offer the occupants an exceptional support and comfort, while being offered in five different leather trimmings with contrast stitching.

However, Lexus said nothing about the RC F’s V8 engine, with specs following to be revealed at the Detroit Show on 14th of January. All we know for now is that the V8 will be more powerful than the 416 hp one on the IS F and it will be mated to an automatic 8-speed gearbox.
