A while ago we saw how the RC F will be sold in the US, coming in a standard trim to which two more grades are offered to create a smart comprehensive packaging. Well, in Europe, things seem to be even more simplified as you will see here in the first UK specs and prices which just got reveled.
The right-hand-drive Lexus RC F will only come in two flavors next year - standard and Carbon, starting at £59,995 and topping £67,995 for the latter.
The standard RC F has pretty much all you need, coming with LED headlights with auto high-beam, 19-inch rims, Brembo brakes, Sachs monotube shocks, active rear wing, high-grade leather upholstery, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, reverse camera and parking sensors at both ends, 10-speaker infotainment system with navigation, the new Remote Touch Interface, dual zone climate control, cruise control and remote keyless entry.
The best goodies are coming with the RC F Carbon version, which adds a rear torque-vectoring differential, CFRP roof, hood and rear spoiler, special 19-inch alloy rims, Alcantara upholstery, heated front seats and a Mark Levinson surround sound system.
Wondering how powerful this bold-looking machine is? Unfortunately Lexus still hasn’t disclosed the exact specs, leaving us with the same “more than 450 bhp and 520 Nm” coming out of a fresh 5-liter V8 which can also sip fuel with the help of the Atkinson cycle.
The ordering lists are open, so you can visit your local dealership to reserve your 450-something bhp coupe right now. However, you’ll have to wait until next year to drive it, as the first units will be delivered starting January 2015.
