With the 2014 North American International Auto Show still opened for public, let’s have another look at Lexus’ biggest achievement for this year so far - the RC F performance coupe.
Cars.com reviewer Kelsey Mays was there and is taking us now on a tour to see the new Lexus RC F’s main features.

The video is especially pointed at the car’s interior, which is absolutely stunning. Based on the current IS model, the RC F’s interior comes with specially designed sport seats, a new thicker steering wheel, LED light strips as well as a new instrument panel configuration that appears to be taking you through a history of gauges, starting at the right with an analogue dial, continuing with a fully digital one in the middle and ending with a display on the far left.

The infotainment system is now operated via Lexus’ Remote Touch interface v2.0, which is now basically a laptop touchpad. What we don’t like however is the fact that despite making the control easier, the actual display’s framerate appears to be as low as before, a small but annoying problem found in many other models. It’s not that it functions weird, but compared to BMW’s for example, the system appears to lag a bit and not offer a perfectly smooth-running image.
