In a Q & A session posted by Lexus recently, chief engineer Yukihiko Yaguchi said that the company is also pondering a Circuit Club Sports Racer (CCS-R) version for the RC F performance coupe revealed this month at Detroit.
Seeing a racetrack version of the RC F for the Japanese GT500 series, led people think if the car would also receive a race version that enthusiasts could buy and use for racing, like the IS F CCS-R.

Asked if there will be such a car in the future, Yaguchi-san sad that “we are studying plans for a CCSR version of this car, but we don't have any confirmation right now.”

The ingredients for making such a gentleman racing car are pretty simple - all you need to do is to take a production version RC F, strip its interior, fit a rollcage and other racing gear with Alcantara wrapping from place to place, add a dash of noise from an unrestricted exhaust system, fit a hardcore racing suspension, bigger brakes and lightweight rims wrapped in slick tires.

And there you have it - the RC F CCS-R track-ready monster. To help with the whole picture, we also did a quick rendering of how this racecar might look, with a fixed spoiler, front air splitter and everything.
