According to latest mystery shoppers study results, if you want the best experience and buyer-to-seller interraction when getting a new car, you should know that Lexus is in the top.
A recent study conducted by Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index asked 5,203 mystery shoppers about how salespeople interacted with them in their most recent purchases.
"Any dealership faces plenty of challenges that are difficult, if not impossible, to change, such as product-line sold or dealership location," said Fran O'Hagan, President and CEO of Pied Piper Management Company LLC. "In contrast, how a sales team sells is something a dealership can improve immediately."
Results placed Lexus dealerships in the top three, along with Mercedes-Benz and Infiniti, out of thirty-three different brands surveyed.
The study was based on factors like salespersons mentioning the availability of different finance or lease options, asking about factors preventing the purchase, customer wants a trade-in, offering brochures and discussing unique features from the competition.
