Lexus will hit the high performance coupe with its newly revealed RC F we saw at the 2014 North American International Auto Show along with the standard RC on which is based.
Set to go on sale in the fall of 2014, Lexus said at the press conference that the company’s goal is to sell 1,400 RCs per month, out of which 200 to be performance RC Fs.

The 2015 Lexus RC will be available with a 3.5-liter V6 making 314 hp or a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a 105 kW electric powertrain.

Moving to the big bad RC F, this will have to threat rivals like the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG coupe, Audi RS5 and BMW M4, so it will be powered by a classic naturally-aspirated 5-liter V8 engine said to make over 450 hp and 384 lb-ft, mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
