Following the earlier introduction of the Lexus NX 300h on the UK market here comes its sportier turbocharged version using the automaker’s all-new 2-liter unit. Order books are open and you can have one for £38,095 on the road.
For starters, you should know you only get the NX 200t if you’re willing to accept the all-wheel-drive system and the F Sport pack which adds distinctive features like the fully meshed grille, different bumpers, 18-inch rims, new exterior colors, sporty interior seats, Dark Rose upholstery, aluminum sport pedals as well as perforated leather steering wheel.
The rest of the features are mirroring those on the NX 300h including LED headlights, electrically adjustable steering wheel, power tailgate, LED fog lamps with cornering function, parking sensors, auto-dimming mirror, dual zone climate control, eight-speaker audio system, electric side mirrors, auto wipers, wireless smartphone charger and more.
As we mentioned, power comes from an all-new 2-liter four-pot fitted with a turbocharger cranking 235 bhp (175 kW/238 PS) and 350 Nm of torque while averaging a fuel consumption of 35.8 mpg UK (7.9 l/100 km) and 183 g/km of CO2.
The NX 200t also comes with a Dynamic Torque Control all-wheel drive system that maximizes traction and cornering stability. Up to 50 percent of the available torque can be directed to the rear axle.
