Lexus Australia confirmed the arrival of the new NX model, coming in both 300h and 200t versions, but the 200 model which is powered by a naturally aspirated 2-liter four-cylinder unit won’t be available.

The NX 200 has been designed as a budget NX, coming with a non-turbo version of the newly developed 2-liter turbo-four. The engine was also designed for markets that have stricter CO2 emission regulations.

Both the NX 200t and 300h will be available with front- or all-wheel drive. The turbo will also be available with a new six-speed automatic gearbox and the automaker’s first stop-start system for a non-hybrid along with the well known F Sport pack, while the 300h comes with the classic eCVT.

Among features, customers will get amenities like fine leather upholstery, a new infotainment system, powerful sound system, cruise control, automatic climate control and Lexus’ new Remote Touch Interface.

Full details have not yet been confirmed for Australia, so stay close to find out more.
