When it comes to cars that look as cool as the all-new Lexus NX crossover, there are few aftermarket mods that can be applied and not ruin the carefully studied design. And you’ll be surprised that Lexus’s official tuner TRD Japan just put out some new body parts for clients that want their “X3-eater” look even more special.
Don’t worry though, because the kit only comes with some slight changes to the bumpers, adding a body-colored front under spoiler and a rear diffuser along with a quad-exhaust muffler setup.

A set of multispoke aluminum forged 19-inch rims are on the list too, the whole pack coming at the price of ¥780,300 ($7,640) without shipping costs, of course. Wondering how much the TRD parts for the RC F will cost?

TRD posted the new kit with the occasion of the Lexus NX’s recent launch in Japan, being offered in two versions - NX 200t turbocharged and NX 300h hybrid - both offered in front- or all-wheel-drive. Prices start at ¥4,280,000 ($47,206) going up to ¥5,820,000 ($57,000).

Apart from the unusual design for a crossover, the NX also debuts with some fresh technology from Lexus. The center of the stage is held by the all-new 2-liter twin scroll turbocharged engine with dual VVT-iW technology, while the NX 300h hybrid gains AWD capabilities via an electric motor placed at the back, that will power the wheels when needed.

Another worth-mentioning technology is the new Remote Touch Interface that replaces the previous mouse-like infotainment control system with a laptop-like touchpad.

The 2015 Lexus NX is already available for preorder on some markets and will hit worldwide dealerships this fall. Check this article for a full walkaround and features presentation of the car.
