Texan tuner Hennessey is increasing its offer with the launch of a new kit for the Lexus LX 570 SUV that will ramp un the power and shave some acceleration time.
Called the HPE500, the kit boosts the LS’ power up to 500 hp, using a TVS supercharger, high-flow filters, performance injectors and an upgraded ECU software, all coming with a three-year warranty. The pack can be fit on all LS 470 models built between 2010 and 2014.
The modified Lexus LS can now do the 0 to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds, which is a full second quicker than the stock one. Moreover, the quarter mile can be done in 14.6, which is also a second faster than the unaltered SUV.
