The Lexus LS, which has been heavily revised for the 2013 model-year is definitely an improvement, in terms of styling and presence, over the non-updated model. Owners can specify an F Sport pack, which gives the exterior a real sporty makeover, making it look even meaner.
However, TRD (Toyota Racing Development) have unveiled a new and even more aggressive body kit for the LS F Sport. It was revealed on the TRD homepage, hinting at the fact that the pack will only be available to customers from the Japanese domestic market. We currently don’t know if it will be available elsewhere, but it surely wouldn’t be too difficult to import the extra parts at any dealer around the world, and then fit them to any LS.
Lexus is really trying hard with the LS, and only time will tell if their extensive promotional campaign, and laudatory words regarding the car will actually make it appealing to enough people to make it the success its predecessor never really was.
