Those of you who followed our automotive coverstory this weekend will know exactly what a donk is now. No, it's not a woman's well rounded backside, it's a car riding on huge wheels.
Traditionally, the donk is supposed to be a classic American car, like a Chevy Impala or Monte Carlo. But more and more imports are getting the raised look.
One perfect example of a new trend is this Lexus LS sedan, a 460 series model, most likely built around 2006. At the time when it was launched, the LS 560 had a brand new 4.6-liter V8 that had been developed specifically for it. This produced 380 horsepower and was coupled to an eight-speed automatic, not the five- and six-speed that were available before.
This donk Lexus was spotted in Florida recently by ThaPlatinumPlayer. Besides the obviously large Forgiato Giordano wheels, the car sports lots of other chrome trim pieces, including a custom grille.
