Lexus LFA Roadster at Drift Event in Japan

Reports coming from the rumor mill late last year said that Lexus was adamant they were not going to make a production version of the LFA Roadster Concept they showed a while back, mainly because of how the global economy looked. Ye, however you look at the car in this video, it’s a Lexus LFA in white, and it has no roof over the driver.

The car was spotted a drift event in Japan called the D1GP Kick Off Drift, which is something to keep fans of sideways action and tire smoke after they visited the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon.

But hold on to your horse, it’s likely just an aftermarket conversion, seeing as the roll bar is really crudely added to the car, a very uncharacteristic feature for such a ridiculously expensive car.
