The standard Lexus LFA is already a car which neatly fits into the ‘ultra-rare’ category, with a planned production run of just 500 units, at a rate of 20 per month. The rather unimaginatively named “Nurburgring Edition” takes it one step further in the exclusivity department, with only 50 cars made.
Being an ‘edition’ car, as you’d expect, it features several track-focused improvements aimed to make the car just a little bit less comfortable and a lot more expensive. Joking aside, though, the car’s 4.8-liter V10 does get a 10 hp boost, giving the car a total of 570 hp. The aim of the extra power is to maintain the car’s acceleration and top speed figures, despite the numerous aero bits bolted onto the car which create downforce, which ultimately slows the car down ever-so-slightly.

Speaking of aero bits, the car features a rather large rear spoiler, canards on the sides of the front bumper under which we find a splitter, also of generous proportion. Stepping inside, there’s a plaque letting the (future) owner know that he does indeed have the 296th LFA built. However, the little plaque may be missed, as the interior is extremely red and will make you unable to focus on any of the details.

The price is unavailable, but considering the fact that the car has only done 195 km (122 miles) and that it originally cost €55,000 ($70,000) more than the standard LFA, you can get a pretty good idea. It’s definitely a lot!
