We have always admired the guys from Lexus for their artistic vision when it comes to their vehicles as well as the way in which they present them, but this year things have taken an interesting turn. We’re saying this because Lexus’ new Crossover Concept left us a bit speechless.
At the Detroit Auto Show, the LF-NX concept car gave us quite a scare as it featured an extreme design. Yes, it seems that Lexus went for a sharp look, with bold and heavy lines. We certainly won’t see this vehicle as having a smooth, liquid design but more of screaming, over-the-top one.
If they were looking for attention, we must say they definitely got it, as the interior was designed in the same manner as the exterior. One will find the same boldness and distinctiveness as before, the LF-NX incorporating black and Sunrise Yellow leather upholstery that contrasts with the blue instrument and switchgear lighting.
Although this is just a concept car, the company has serious plans with it and is actually working on its production version that will be quite similar to the concept. Concerning the LF-NX’S power, Lexus brought it to Detroit with its upcoming 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine while back in Frankfurt they came with the hybrid powertrain version.
In case you are one of those that find this car appealing, know that the production model might make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. So, be prepared to experience one cutting-edge compact-sized SUV.
