Lexus LF-NX Production Model Imagined for First Time

Lexus showed us its ideas for a sub RX compact crossover at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Called the LF-NX, the new concept shows again the Lexus designers’ obsession with shapes and functionality.

The LF-NX concept is characterized by the same huge spindle design front grille, L-shaped daytime running lights and thin LED headlamps. Also, the whole body appear to be machined from a single block of metal, thanks to the sharp and very narrow gapings as well as the special paint.

But, there will be at leas one year until something close to the production model will surface for us to see. Until then, we’ll have to put our imagination at work and picture ourselves how the new production model NX will look like.

AutoBild has recently posted a possible production version of the LF-NX, rendered by Andrei Avarvarii, which you can see above. The changes from the concept are not too big. The rendered NX uses almost the same headlights as the current IS model and a more tamed front grille. What do you think?
