Lexus is rumored to further develop performance cars. With the LFA having gone extinct in December last year, the automaker wants to please its fans and clients by adding more sportscars to its lineup, until a worthy replacement for the mighty LFA will come to life.
According to What Car, the Japanese automaker is planning a coupe version of the upcoming IS sports sedan to go on sale next year. The new coupe will likely be based on the LF-CC concept seen last year at the Paris Motor Show, as the prototype had previewed numerous features found on the new IS, including the large trapezoidal grille, taillights design and the same hybrid drivetrain.

Moreover, it’s expected that Lexus will also produce a high-performance IS F version of the performance sedan, that will use a similar V8 engine from the outgoing IS F.
