Lexus’ range of cars currently starts with the CT 200h, but today we’re inviting you to imagine what would happen if this was replaced by a more compact version of the brand’s latest model the IS.
The adjacent renderings shows us just that - this is a Lexus IS that has received the rear end of a CT, with the result being one of the most spectacular compacts we’ve ever seen.
Nevertheless, the implications would go far beyond the borders of design. The change would mean that we’d get rear wheel drive, as well as beefier engines.
Of course this is never going to happen, but it would be extremely interesting to see a hot hatch from Lexus. The melange between the Japanese carmaker’s comfort-orientated set of principles and a high output would probably result in one appealing machine.
