This is one seriously dangerous manoeuvre being pulled off here, right in the middle of very dense traffic. The driver of this black Lexus IS-F comes in very quickly off a straight, then drifts left, at speed, through the multitude of moving cars, and surprisingly does not crash.
He then makes a left turn yet again, while still maintaining the the slide, and rejoins traffic on the other side, as if nothing had happened. The driver could easily be characterised as being very brave, stupid and skilful all at the same time - it is the exact blend of 'qualities' one needs in order to pull off the drift.
Also, the Lexus IS-F, especially if it's the updated 2012 model is a proper drift machine, with bags of torque from the 5.0-liter V8, as well as a good chassis and communicative steering. It is also very easy to keep sliding, as the back of the car always seems to just want to step out a bit - it is welcome behaviour if you enjoy a bit of fun behind the wheel.
This reminds us a bit of those Arab drifters, who rarely crash, despite doing unspeakable things behind the wheel of their (usually) front-wheel drive cars.
