Lexus GS Super Bowl XLVI Ad Trailer

2011 hasn’t been the best year for Japanese luxury automaker Lexus, as it lost its crown as the biggest player in that segment for the US market. But they are going to take the fight back to BMW with a total of 9 new or refreshed vehicles launched in 2012.
To highlight this initiative, Lexus is airing their first ever Supper Bowl ad on SUnday, February 5th on NBC. We don’t have the full 30 seconds to show you, but a short teaser trailer does reveal the ad is about the new GS, which has been playing a sort of design flagship for a while now in the absence of another all-new car.

“This is a big year for Lexus as we introduce nine new or updated models, and the Super Bowl provides us with an equally big opportunity to reach a highly engaged audience of 50 million people,” said Brian Smith, Lexus vice president of marketing.
“The star of our commercial is the all-new 2013 GS which launches in February and kicks off a pivotal era for the Lexus brand. The spot also will convey that even more products are waiting in the wings and are anxious to hit the road.”
