We know for quite some time now that Lexus will introduce a new turbocharged powerplant among its current aspirated and hybrid engines in the offer.
First registered in Australia, a 2-liter turbocharged unit was said to power the RX 200t model, then there were rumors about the new engine finding a place under the new RC coupe’s hood.

After that, we learnt that a Lexus LF-NX 200t concept will be showcased at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show. And now it looks like there’s another model which may benefit from the new turbo, as Lexus appears to have trademarked a GS 200t in Japan.

Fan site Lexus Musts, found and took a screenshot with the Lexus GS 200t nameplate appearing on the Industrial Property Digital Library webpage from Japan.

This way, the Lexus GS will be offered in five different flavors around the world - 460h, 350, 300h, 250 and 200t, more than enough to satisfy a wide range of customers.
