Detroit saw the Lexus GS F in the metal for the first time; then it was Geneva's turn to meet the big bad V8 hidden under the car's hood. However, no engine roaring was involved in the process, but the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed will change that.
Europeans will get a bit fat slice of the Lexus GS F at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, but don't think this is all about people being able to get in the car or watch it up close. No, sir, there's more in the cookie jar.

The latest Lexus to display the F badge will have a go on Goodwood's hill climb course, under the close supervision of Toyota Gazoo Racing pilot Mike Conway, who will be responsible with the pedal pushing and steering wheel spinning part.

Also, those present will get a chance to shake hands with the 5.0-liter V8 engine roaring under the Lexus GS F's hood. The powerplant is supposed to be Lexus' A-game and to prove that, engineers imbued it with 467 horsepower and 527 Nm (389 lb-ft) of maximum torque, just like in the RC F.

The racing grade equipment on the GS F also includes a reinforced body shell and sport-tuned suspension, along with Lexus’s Torque Vectoring Differential.

But in case the GS F won't be enough to match your ambitions, Lexus is planning to show the LFA supercar at Goodwood. Those into motorsport will be able to meet and greet the asphalt-devourer going by the name of RC F GT3.
