Currently the 2013 Lexus GS 350 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 306 hp that is mated to 6-speed sequential-shift transmission. The only other option in the range is the GS 450h hybrid that mixes the same V6 with an electric motor.
In a world where Audi makes money from the S-Line range, and BMW revealed the M Sport package for the 3-Series saloon way before the actual M3 was show, Lexus is now doing the same.

What we mean is that the F-Sport version of the GS will make its official debut at the 2011 SEMA Show. You can expect this to bring deeper spoiler, a bigger set of heels and a more focused ride and steering setup to the existing 350.

Rumor has it that Lexus is also working on a GS-F that will take on the mighty new BMW M5 with a supercharged version of the V8 powerplant of the IS F, producing about 550 hp. As for the gearbox, the two aforementioned models will probably share the eight-speed automatic transmission.
