Lexus needs to make money on the regular GS before turning their engineers to building the GS-F. But until the big V8s and the extra power arrive on a production saloon, they are letting us dream for a little bit with a supercharged project based on the 2013 GS 350 F Sport.
The car that will bow at SEMA next week will have a body kit by Japanese tuning firm Wald International, comprising of a new front lip spoiler, side skirts and a boot spoiler. The list of mods also includes the latest Vossen CV7 wheels, Brembo brakes and RSR coilover suspension.
But it’s the power that we’re most interested in. The 3.5-liter V6 will have a supercharged by Apexi CG, as well as PTS Joe Z Series true dual header-back exhaust. Output figures have yet to be revealed, but they should be somewhere north of 400 hp.
autoevolution will be attending the 2012 SEMA, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
