The thing with hybrid cars is that people tend to underestimate them for having small engines and electric motors to aid them like some sort of prosthesis.
But if you put a petrolhead behind a hybrid’s steering wheel, there are about 70 percent chances he will enjoy it. I went through that phase and now I will totally accept a hybrid vehicle as a daily driver and use the gas-guzzler for weekend fun. And it will get even better when Toyota’s Hybrid-R technology will equip production sportcars in the future.
Same story went for the guys at Motor Trend, who tested the 2013 Lexus CT F Sport and concluded that it offers genuine fun, luxury interior, nice styling and small fuel consumption.
