Lexus Could’ve Sold More LFAs in Australia

Lexus Australia’s chief said recently that the company could have sold more of its LFA supercars on the local market, which limited to only its 10 allocated units out of the 500 totally built.

At a recent conference in Japan, Lexus Australia CEO Sean Hanley admitted he had to turn down solid enquiries for the out-of-production speed machine.

“We could have sold more,” said Hanley. “In recent months, as recently as the last four months, I’ve had three enquiries from private buyers. It’s clear to me that genuine performance car enthusiasts want that LFA”.

However, Hanley assured the Lexus fans that the company will continue to make exceptional driving vehicles in the future, wearing at least the same amount of enjoyability as the LFA did.

The most relevant Lexus model of this type is the RC coupe that will be make its world debut at the Tokyo Motor Show this week. The beautifully crafted sportscar will come with two engine options as far as we know - a 3.5-liter V6 and a 2.5-liter hybrid. Stay tuned for more.
