The Lexus LFA supercar ended its production in December 2012 after the 500-unit limited series had been manufactured.
Lately, the Japanese automaker launched an F Sport bicycle to mark the end of the LFA’s production. Sounds pretty basic, but the manpowered two-wheeler has something special.
First of all, its frame is made from the same Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) that was used in the supercar’s body panels and it is painted with the same care and standards as the car.
Next, you will find a Dura-Ace Di2 electrically-controlled gear-change system to operate the 22 gears the bicycle is fitted with.
Hand built by Taiwanese bicycle maker Takumi, the bike can be obtained from a regional office, but given the fact that there are two units in the US and only one in Canada, it won’t be too easy.
