If Toyota’s best-selling hybrid of all time is the Prius, obviously, Lexus’ has another story to tell.
You’ve probably imagined that Lexus’s entry level CT model is more attractive to the people who want a luxury hybrid. Well, it’s not like that, as global hybrid cumulative sales shows that the CT 200h came second with around 169.000 units sold.

The first spot is taken by something a bit more larger... the RX nameplate that can be had with a hybrid drivetrain. Data shows that the RX 400h/450h is the best-selling Lexus hybrid, with 268,600 units sold world wide since its introduction.

In fact, the RX crossover was the first Lexus model to be offered with a hybrid powerplant, which may explain why it’s the most popular out of its siblings.
